Hey i have a ATI Radeon 9250 256mb Video card, and i have some problems with it. Right now im using my mother boards default vid card which is a GeForce 4 64mb. Anyway when i was using my ATI i had serious lag problems with HL1 and other games. I have no idea why this would be and if someone can help me, PLEASE TELL ME! My only guess is that theres a conflict between my Nvidia made motherboard (im guessing thats who made it) and my Video Card.

I'll look into it and tell you what I find. It could be a few commands in the console that could help plus a few adjustments in you vid card setup. I'll let you know.

isn't the geforce 4 better than the 9250? Maybe I'm mistaken. Did you get the most recent drivers for both the motherboard and your vid card?
